In terms of fitness, it is important to be able to handle your own body, not just weights. There are many “strong” people who can’t perform a proper pushup, which indicates an imbalance in their fitness. The video below shows an advanced progression of a handstand pushup.

In a relatively short time (just over a month or so), working with the guys at Ambition Athletics my results have been excellent. The training and guidance has resulted in significant improvement to my mobility, strength, and balance. Max and Mike both possess a broad base of knowledge, are professional, and will take the time to explain not only how to exercise, but also why the particular exercise is important.
I came to them looking for improvements in all the areas above, specifically because my doctor had noticed I was unevenly loading my hips/legs (which was resulting in leg pain) due to poor/uneven back strength. My chiropractor noticed the same, so I decided to give it a try with Ambition Athletics.
It is a decision I am grateful I made. My strength (including my core) has improved, I am more flexible, and I've started to shed fat and build more muscle. I highly recommend both Max and Mike.

Would you be up to writing a short post for my blog at Extreme Human Performance about your use of handstands and why more people should them? I love the variations here too.
